Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training teaches people who work in health and social care how to support people with a learning disability and autistic people. It is a law that all health and social care staff must do this training. We run Tier 1 online and Tier 2 face-to-face sessions across the UK. Our trainers Toni and Liam deliver this training together. Tier 2 costs £127.50 per person or £1,530 for a group of up to 12 people. All prices are plus VAT.

We deliver NUCO accredited training courses. NUCO is an organisation that approves training and gives people certificates. These courses include first aid and other important health and safety skills. When you finish the course you get a certificate to show you have learned these skills.

We can design a training workshop just for your team. We listen to what your team needs and build the training around that. This means the training is about the real things your team deals with every day. We can come to your workplace to deliver it. There is a one-off consultation fee of £400 plus VAT to design your workshop and create all the materials. You only pay this once and can reuse the materials for future sessions. Delivery costs £550 plus VAT for a full day in person, or £480 plus VAT online. A half day costs £380 plus VAT in person, or £320 plus VAT online.

A competency assessment checks that a care worker can do their job safely and well. One of our trained assessors will watch the care worker doing their job and check they are doing it correctly. This helps make sure people who need care are safe and well looked after.

The Care Certificate is a set of standards that all new care workers must meet. We can sign off the Care Certificate for your staff. This means we check that they have met all the standards and are ready to work safely in health and social care.

We offer accredited courses that are approved by well-known organisations. These include ILM leadership and management qualifications from Level 2 to Level 7, and City and Guilds awards. When you complete an accredited course you get a nationally recognised certificate. This can help people progress in their career. The next ILM intake starts in January 2027.

We have online courses that people can do on a computer, tablet or phone. You can do these courses at home or at work. You can stop and start whenever you like. The courses cover important topics like safeguarding, infection control and fire safety.

We help care organisations make sure they are doing a good job. We look at how the organisation works and help them get ready for inspections by the Care Quality Commission. The CQC is the organisation that checks care services in England are safe and good quality. We help organisations improve so they can get a good rating.

HR means Human Resources. This is about looking after the people who work in an organisation. We help care organisations with things like employment law, staff policies, recruitment and making sure staff are treated fairly and well. We help organisations build strong, happy teams.

We help care organisations run better. We look at how the organisation is set up and help them make it work more smoothly. This includes things like planning, systems, processes and making sure the right people are doing the right jobs. We help organisations grow and improve.
